Lioba Marthé is a professional contemporary dancer from Berlin. Her dancing roots are to be found in Spanish Flamenco dance, which she practiced for twenty years at Laura La Risa’s Flamenco school.

 

Currently, she lives in Berlin and works as a freelance dancer, dancing teacher, choreographer and directs her own performance projects - among others for Bode Museum Berlin, Stadttheater Kempten, Theater forum Kreuzberg, Let Me In Festival.

Between 2014 and 2018 she was co-director of the dance theater company “GAU”.

In 2019 she founded the theatre performance group called “Smek”.
